First connection: Feb 2013 You wrote us a purely formal email. Here it is: “My fiance and I are getting married in October 2013 and would love to get married in Vietnam. We haven’t actually been to Vietnam but have always wanted to go and thought that this would be a great opportunity to enjoy your beautiful country at the same time as celebrating our special moment with our family and friends. We really like Dalat but are open to other suggestions also. Ideallie we would like to have a garden wedding at a french colonial villa but are not sure where we should be looking for this. We will need help with finding a venue for the wedding and then after that with managing everything else that is involved in organising the wedding as we are based outside of Vietnam… We are both very exited about having our wedding in Vietnam but do need help with the planing so we hope to hear from you soon. >> That’s a fancy and unfarmiliar decision of them! But gave a chance for a dream! First met: 14 Mar 2013, some where a cozy corner in Sai gon My feeling? Totally obsessed. -Mustache, short sleeves pants, bare head, tall very tall, an always-with-you-note-book. -Long hair, asian look, deep eyes, shining smile, sweet voice, small, artistic look. I hardly remembered what we have talked that night, the only remaining point is: you are going on the ground when knowing exactly where to go, what to have on your wedding day. That’s a good signal! The 2nd signal felt after a trip to Dalat, where an Omen said that “this must be where our wedding has to be taken place”. One-day-quick-sitecheck trip started a long journey of wedding planning ahead. Mic is decisive, manly, roman-following but still down-to-earth and a good listener. Sourina is cheerful, keep calm and caring. Like any brides, she was so patient, detailed and focus for wedding planning, as I said “a full-time-job” Their decision went with a hard core, “light up other’s life”. Work with them during half a year, yet seems like yesterday, coz every discussion, online meeting went on quickly, thoroughly and clearly. Ending with a “forever-word-of-mouth” from Souri “We are so excited. Cheers!”. This wedding, every details and every email is a memories. Mic & Sourina have really enjoyed their wedding, from the very first day. Being frankly, honest and open with the other’s ideas, opinion is the way they love each other, and as well as work with their wedding planner. I myself, more than appreciated, and also, enjoy every steps that we have spent during the time. Bunches of emails, with NO pressure. Everything was crystal clear, we always live in feeling that tomorrow would be their crazy-fun-hipster-wedding. And look, we could not ever forget the way M&S spent their time, stayed up late midnight, to write customized Thank you note to each of their guests, spent entirely weekend to hang out, quickly confirm availability of their friends. Last not least, specially order a hand-made-Aroma-Dolly for a Charity organization in Vietnam as a Thank you message from couple & Friends to the place that give them a beautiful dreaming wedding: Vietnam. That’s so personal, so caring and meaningful. No need to say, their guests must be so touching and await for this trip. We were too, here, count down one single day to their wedding. Everything was ready! The day has come. Dalat welcomed us with not a “pleasure” coldness. One day setting up for Persion ceremony, one day for setting up the Enchanted Dinner reception. Mic & Souri were so fresh in their casual stylish outfit, and be wildly appear in their own ceremony. Persian day took place with all involvement from family and friends. That’s the 1st time we ever witnessed such a traditional way Persian people give bless for your children. If Vietnamese has “trầu cau” for Lễ rước dâu & Lễ hỏi, then Persian has their own way with SOFREH TABLE, contains sacred cloth, Mirror (symbol of soul & conscience), Candelabra, Espand (inscense to defeat evil), Noon Sangak (a persian flat bread), Tokhme morgh & Ajil (decorated eggs and bowls, symbolizes fertility), Rose petal (symbol of kindness), Sekeh Tallah, Honey/ Asal (sweetness in life), Hajez (book of romance), Scissors (symbol of two or pair), Needle & thread (tool to sew together through life when conflicts occur)…That sacred moment, people felt into quietness, just let the sacred soul speak up. Ceremony’s located in Edensee resort, where nature, life, human and coldness became one. Breathe taking, speechless with the non-stop-beauty of surrounding view, people sinked into tremendous-ness and humid sky. How can I say. Its like you took a role in “Broke back mountain” movie, the scene I mean. Very deep, very calm, very distinguished, bold and emotional. God! Ceremony was sweet with acoustic voice, dedicated winess and enthusiastic couple. UP is the blue sky (thought we were scared of rain, lastly its were not, let later on), SURROUND is wind, green grass, and fresh air. FRONT is Tuyenlam lake, where sunset shaked hand with rolling-mountain, mist and un-boundery-forest. Warm voice, scared vows, and blissful smile flied high and high. Dinner reception was remarked with a heavy rain. Set asside all nervousness, things went crazy in a second. After that second, people moved to ball room as a safe back up plan, and enjoyed their dinner there, fully, despite the outside wetness. Midnight came, fresh air and tidy mood brought everyone outside, to play with the wind, to look at Mic & Sourina glorious’s moments. LIGHTENING TABLE is a gift from us to M&S. Long table with 100 candles (no kidding, 100 exaclty). Mic & Souri would be there, with friends & beloved, lighten those all canldes, as a wish in “Asian” way: 100 years of happiness. That moment the wind blew warmly. Kisses all around. And love was all around. By own world, they have lighted up, not only husband/ wife’s life, but all people at that day as well. Fabulous! Stylist, living with all heart, energetic fun, and crazy in love is what we can tell, forever and forever about their wedding day. Mic & Sourina, cheers! We know you guys will be more than happy, with a more-than-dreaming- wedding! Life is so generous for those who appreciate it!
