Wedding Concept & Planning:
Confetti Vietnam Wedding Planner

Albedo South Perth

Alex met Loan in Bangkok, just after they had both moved there for work, at a cocktail party organized by their relocation agency. Alex is from England, and Loan from Vietnam. They both love traveling and have been in many places together from Thailand and the cherry blossoms in Japan, until Alex finally proposed to Loan on a gondola ride in Venice, talk about romantic! They were married in Vietnam last year (quoted from Albedo photography)
We have honor to be Loan & Alex’s wedding planner here and it has been a year since then.
A year since the day tieing the knot, through patience and sharing, both Loan & Alex have been so determining on “Where their love begins”: nurture similarity and respect differences. Their love looks young with non-stop-surprising moment for each other.
Like this time!
Alex brought Loan a surprise when taking her to Perth-Australia to celebrate their 1st anniversary, as Alex used to live here and now he wanted Loan to know his second home. Vice versa, Loan brought a surprise to Alex, by contacting us as planner for their romantic dinner in C-restaurant-Perth, booking Albedo to capture their moments. That’s also a surprise for Confetti to be a remote-planner, from Viet Nam to Australia, the first time in our working history.
Skype, telecon, email became powerful channels for planning. Discussing with Tom from C-restaurant, talking with Jen from Albedo photography, getting experience from friends living in Australia to get the best options is halfly fun, halfly inspired and… that’s great experience for planning process.
Loan left everything for us, even “making us any surprise you can think of”- she said. And we did it, just little touch with the Rupik to review the milestones, with the hand written letter go get them through first year of marriage, to the Crown, icon of king & queen as symbolization of mutual respect in family life. Those were small, but that’s “them” and “their story”. The dinner was more memorable the lovely purple set up: purple flower vase (from vietnam, yeah, true), candle lights, beautifully white table & seat décor, nice pictures, nice music… A dinner of romance!
Thank you Loan & Alex to bring us different experience, thank you for trusting, enjoy each pieces of the surprise we brought. Most of all, happiness that came from you and your family is always burning a fire in our heart, about LOVE & WHERE LOVE BEGINS!
*** Our special thanks to Alex nguyen for the photography recommendation. And thanks Jen for beautiful photos. We have heard the coincidence story. That’s crazy. And this world is so small. People we know or getting to know can be everywhere in this flat world.
